Agenda & Minutes

Anyone attending a meeting of the Truth or Consequences City Commission is free to speak during the public comment section of the meeting.  Speakers during this part of the meeting are limited to three minutes.  These public comments may be on any topic relevant to the governing of the City of Truth or Consequences and require no notification of either the City Clerk's Office or the membership of the Commission.

Formal Listing on the Agenda of the City Commission
In order to be listed on the Agenda of the City Commission, you must fill out the Application for Listing on the City Commission Agenda.  This application and any supporting documents must be received in the City Clerk's Office seven days before the scheduled date of the meeting.  Your request will be reviewed by the City Manager and assigned a date for presentation to the Commission.  Please note that, although your request will commonly be scheduled for the next Commission meeting, this cannot be guaranteed due to time constraints and already full agendas.  If your request for listing on the agenda is denied by the City Manager, you will be notified by either phone or email and given the reason for the denial.  Denials may be appealed to any City Commissioner or to the Commission as a whole as noted on the application form.
